V I S I B I L I T Y In case you don't know Eizen is seraphim! A sort of spirit that cannot be seen/heard/touched by majority of people, save those who possess a certain amount of spiritual 'resonance'. There are exceptions to the rule, however, canonically animals are able to interact with him, as are supernatural creatures, seraphim and spirits much like himself, monsters, and people who possess medium like abilities. People lacking in all the above mentioned things will only be able to hear his voice over the network or catch glimpses of him in such things as mirrors and other reflective surfaces. ( !! it is important to note that no one will be able to see him in video feeds regardless of their level of resonance; in such cases only his voice will be picked up and the fleet will be treated to whatever scenery is behind at the time. !! ) Thankfully in order to make things easier on everyone else the longer people spend time around Eizen, or the other seraphim, the easier time they will have at being able to see him. This will be a process that happens over a number weeks/months, starting with being able to hear his voice and progress from there. All I need is to know who Eizen can properly interact with face to first straight away and who can't. C U R S E It is also important to note that Eizen's curse (or more specifically his blessing) brings ill fortune to anyone who happens to be in his vicinity. His presence alone is able to set into motion a series of unfortunate events, usually involving things that can range from comical to almost life threatening. This does not happen constantly, there are periods where nothing at all happens by being around him, in the end it is always a matter of when. The affect of his curse has been known to be lethal, many people having died standing by his side, however it is not always guaranteed to so bad as to kill. It is also interesting to note that official text has described the truth of his blessing to be "To bless a person with strict but adequate trials, so as to incite necessary growth for them". Basically he's the embodiment of Murphy's Law.

Not really? Mostly because those aren't a thing in her canon.

They're actually a race of aliens called Ectonurites and everyone can see them unless they actively use their powers to do otherwise, eheh

Though she's also coming in from a previous game that was full of emotion-related magic, if that helps at all? No spirits there, but pretty much everyone could learn how to use magic regardless of whether or not they could in canon.

Level of resonance: Belthazar has resonance for a few reasons! 1. He is sensitive to mana because elves are nourished by it and need it to survive. Also, those ears aren't for show-- he has above average hearing and (maybe?) sight. 2. He is a mage, who are taught to manipulate threads of mana and can see them by definition. This is an essential part of arcane spellweaving specifically. 3. Gods exist on Azeroth, so 'believing' in otherworldly spirits is the norm.

I have my own permissions regarding mana tapping here. Eizen looks like a delicious steak to a mana-starved crack elf, but he will never take mana from him unless he's told that it's okay.

Both Sokka and Fenris don't have any kind os resonance so they won't be able to see him at all, wee. Lumiére's a bit of a weird case because he's technically a supernatural being right now, but usually wouldn't be and would have absolutely zero resonance as a human. I'll leave you decide on that one because I am utterly canonblind.

Level of resonance: Well, humans in the D&D world are...used to seeing all kinds of shit. Ghosts/demons/devils/celestials/gods, etc, especially in the world of Exandria. Percy's been possessed by a ghost, had a shadow demon inside him for a number of years, has been to hell, speaks celestial and has met a god, and other spoilery things in addition to having a high perception. Sooo I'd say he *could* see Eizen if he passes a perception check in the beginning months? (I have dice and can roll for that easily o7 )

i'd have to agree! he's likely a lot more sensitive towards the seraphim due to the STUFF TM he's been through, with a passed perception check he'd definitely be able to catch glimpses of him and likely hear Eizen's voice. i'd wager that it'll take Percy probably a couple of weeks to be able to adjust to his presence and be able to completely see and hear him. \o/

DC wise i'd say he'd probably have to pass a 20 check which really shouldn't be much of an issue unless your dice decide to actually hate you :D
